Green Bath

Ingredients-
Coriander leaves
½ bunch
Rice
1 cup (1/4 kg)
Onion
4
Tomato
4
Green chilly
3-5
Ginger
½ stick
Garlic
4-5 pieces
Cloves
2
Cardamom
1
Cinnamon
4 pieces
Green peas
¼ cup
Pudina leaves (optional)
1 cup
Grated Coconut(optional)
½ cup
Salt
To taste
Oil
To fry
Lemon

Method -
1. Soak green peas in water and leave it overnight
2. Wash the coriander bunches and chop the leaves(do not use stems)
3. Clean and wash rice
4. Grind Coriander and Pudina leaves into a fine paste
5. Grind garlic, coconut, Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, into fine paste
6. Heat oil on a pan or cooker. Fry sliced onion till it turns golden brown
7. Add the garlic paste and the finely sliced tomato
8. Add the washed rice
9. Allow it to heat for 2 minutes
10. Add coriander paste with water (Rice and water in 1:2 ratio)
11. Add green peas
12. Add salt.
13. Close the pan or cooker. Wait for the rice to cook
14. Add the lemon juice to the cooked content. Mix well
15. Serve hot with Raitha
16. Serves 4-6 people
